SpeQtre entanglement-based quantum communications CubeSat reaches orbit

SpeQtral (Singapore) and RAL Space (UK) launched the 12U SpeQtre CubeSat on SpaceX Transporter-15 into sun-synchronous orbit carrying a space-qualified entangled-photon source. Quantum experiments with ground stations in Singapore and at Chilbolton Observatory were scheduled to begin in early 2026.
