Quantum Corridor and Toshiba run first cross-state QKD on live US commercial carrier fibre

Quantum Corridor and Toshiba demonstrated QKD over 21.8 km of commercial fibre between data centres in Illinois and Indiana, reported as the first cross-state QKD deployment on a US carrier network. The multiplexed link delivered about 1,500 kbps of secure key while carrying full line-rate traffic with zero packet loss over 48 hours.
