King Abdullah University of Science and Technology created the KAUST Quantum Foundry to provide shared cleanroom access and standardised processes for reproducible fabrication of superconducting, photonic and other quantum devices. It is intended to anchor Saudi Arabia’s domestic quantum hardware supply chain.
