NIST advances nine candidates to third round of additional PQC signature process

NIST published NIST IR 8610 announcing that nine candidate algorithms progress to the third round of its Additional Digital Signature Schemes standardization process. The round narrows the field of non-lattice and alternative signature schemes intended to complement ML-DSA, SLH-DSA and the forthcoming FN-DSA.
