SES and Airbus secure site for EAGLE-1 quantum optical ground station in Noordwijk

SES and Airbus Netherlands signed a ground lease with the municipality of Noordwijk to build a dedicated optical ground station at NL Space Campus for Europe’s EAGLE-1 satellite QKD mission. Launch is now expected around late 2026 to early 2027.
